Did you know...? Linking to a specific point in a song

Here's a neat trick I bet you may not have known about. Using the Spotify URI link it is now possible to link not only to a given track, but to a given point of time within a given track - way cool.

This is accomplished deceptively simply by adding the minutes and seconds of offset to the end of the Spotify URI, like so:

spotify:track:5o4KCeIYDOyL7JxgDUgvS5#8:23

Here's a handy little application we produced to simply the process of searching Spotify with multiple parameters.

Just type in as many or as few parameters as you want (e.g. Motown under Record label, and Jackson under one of the exclude fields) and your custom search link will be created dynamically. You don't need to use quotes in any of the fields. (Click here for the complete list of Spotify genres)
